• With the Serbest Plus Account, you can deposit and withdraw funds without waiting for maturity and grow your savings of TRY 10,000 and above with high interest rates.
• By adding funds to your Serbest Plus Account on business days until 5:00 PM, you can start earning interest immediately. Amounts deposited after 5:00 PM or on public holidays will start earning interest on the next business day.
• An amount equal to 10% of the Serbest Plus Account balance is kept in a demand deposit account, and no interest is paid on this portion. The maximum non-interest-bearing balance is TRY 500,000.
• You can open your account via Akbank Mobile and add funds through money transfers. You can close your account via Akbank Mobile or at our branches.

Other Features of the Serbest Plus Account

• The Serbest Plus Account is a savings account that earns overnight interest and operates with a requirement to maintain a demand deposit balance.
• The balance of the linked demand deposit account corresponds to 10% of the total account balance. When any financial transaction is made, this ratio is automatically maintained.
• The minimum amount required to open an account is TRY 10,000. As long as your balance does not fall below this minimum, you may withdraw money at any time.
• The maximum amount to open a Serbest Plus Account is TRY 10,000,000. Amounts up to this limit earn an advantageous interest rate, while amounts exceeding the limit are subject to the standard list interest rate.
• We would like to remind you that our bank reserves the right to change interest rates in line with market conditions.
• Withholding tax on interest income is applied at a rate of 17.5%.
