Akbank records the activities carried out within the system by its clients and personnel in accordance with the legal regulation. Such records are kept for the duration determined by the legal regulation.
Past due accounts
The accounts of the Akbank clients which have not been processed for 10 years are subject to be transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund since they lapse pursuant to the Article 62 of the Baking Law.

Account Book Information
Account book is a document proving that the account you open in Akbank exists in our bank. It will be to your benefit to obtain it from Akbank branches. Your account book will be given to you when you visit any Akbank branch.
