Global Finance named Akbank as the Best Emerging Market Bank in Turkey.
In March the Global Finance magazine announced the 2008 Best Emerging Bank Awards on a country and regional winner basis. Best Emerging Market Bank award criteria for choosing the winners included: growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative products.
